Tell us more about size and medium, a good and eye catching portrait

Excellent portrait, and your subject bears a resemblance to the late Sir Gerald Kaufman, who (and for many reasons) was a hero of mine because of the lengths to which he'd go, untold and not bragged about, for others: I hope your subject won't mind, but he does have the same quizzical and kindly face.

The size is A2, and I used pastels and pastel pencils. I think the paper is either Canson or Fabriano. More likely to be Canson. I did it awhile ago and the person in it has now passed on.
