SUNFLOWER DOODLE

SUNFLOWER DOODLE

Lovely. Just the colour we need for the oncoming autumn. I'm getting cross, because I don't like the cold unless it's sunny and crisp and there is a warm house to escape to!

It's lovely Sylvia and works really well with the Brusho Inks, is this the Rebecca influence? I love the splattering too!

Sometimes, unfortunately not often enough, a quck doodle results is something really worthwhile. You are fortunate, this one is beautifully done. Perhaps because it was a doodle, a bit of fun, it's loose and flowing. The splattering was takinga risk, and it worked. It looks like you used panoramic/landscape paper? I recently bought a pad and I like the variation it offers from the standard sizes.

What lovely comments...thank you. -actually Christine I started Rebecca on good old Brusho, they have been a favourite of mine for years. colour craft are really super people to deal with ,a few years ago I went with a charity to Zambia to play with kids and take some paint stuff etc. I sent the usual begging letter around and Colour craft sent me about £500.00 of materials to take with me. An incredibly generous thing for them to do. i love a panorama format Tony it is so versatile . Enjoy it.

I'd never heard of Brusho Inks before Rebecca's postings but she obviously loves using them Sylvia, I've just 'googled' them and they seem very versatile and I'm really tempted to give them a try!

A lovely sunflower Sylvia! I had never heard of Brusho either before Rebecca started to mention them but must have a look soon. Your sunflower has got such bright and clear looking colours that I'm quite willing to give them a try too.

Beautifully done, Sylvia! Love the very spontaneous brushwork, with the bright and sunny feel.

Nice one Sylvia - really like it.

A great doodle! Good colours and formation of petals Sylvia.

Lovely melting sunflower doodle Sylvia, hope it's kick sarted the flow of inspiration!

very nice! wish my doodles were this good!!

This doodle deserves to become a painting. it is very nice and I also like the Brusho inks zingy colours.

Only just seen your PM Sylvia but can't work out how to reply via the forum. Thank you for the Brusho info, I will definitely give them a go, I love experimenting! As for the other issue, I am keeping well out of it, it's pathetic!
