Suspect the presence of Prussian Blue - and nothing wrong with that. Indigo is the colour I'd avoid: heavy as lead set in concrete..... Like the drama in this one; very foreboding! As I remember Wales, though - it ALWAYS rains; but then I haven't been back for all too long.

This is very, very atmospheric, Sylvia. Beautiful.

Very, very brave sky - full of atmosphere and movement. In fact the whole painting has atmosphere in spades and I think you got across what you were trying to say very well indeed.

Scuse me Robert it has had a few dry days since you were last in Wales. Thea this sky really was as dramatic as this, possibly even more than I have portrayed it. Yes I am fond of my Prussian, though not on the sole of my shoe... oooops. Thank you for happy comments.

Really dramatic and so well conveyed - do like your technique and nothing at all wrong with the palette - you could start a new movement in shoe paintings - look forward to the results

Wonderful drama, and love the touches of red in the beach! (from another fan of Prussian blue :)

Very dramatic and atmospheric.

Wow Sylvia, over flowing with drama and atmosphere.........it's fabulous!

Thanks folk.

Very dramatic and bold - love it

The land and the sky seem to mirror each other and it works very well!

This is a wonderful walk about 10 miles away from me. If the tide is in , be aware , be very aware. But when it is out its a wonderful beach walk...unless it rains.
