This small and simple collection has made an interesting composition Sylvia, I always love pen and ink, such immediacy has been achieved.

Thanks Alan... I had to dig into my mind for this one as I cannot get to the garden. But when you are so familiar with shapes like these ( having gardened all of my life) it was only the composition I needed to think about. Like you I usually sit in front of what I am painting. I have some more garden theme ones to do so will be peering deep into my memory.

The themes area good idea, especially if you're in a group. This has got it all in Sylvia

Love that word Gudrun....I tend to make them up as welll.or is this one a real one ? . Yes Derek it's good to have a theme , we are thirteen so thirteen. books thirteen themes ranging from Smoke and Mirrors, Amanda's theme...Power, Davids theme , Drama my theme and ten others. All the work done is so different and they are turning out to be very exciting pieces of art. We have them for a month and then pass along .
