Just love this colourful painting and the title...love the big bums and the brooms standing up in a row in the background...lovely lively scene

Thats some fine booty...not to be hurried eh.

Hi Sylvia this is looking very very good. Cant wait to see the finished work :)

Great carnevalesque atmosphere, colours, movement and dare I say, shapes! Takes me back to childhood looking for yams in St Johns

Thank you for lovely comments.... It ,is in the market in St Johns, Colleen.

The line from the song is size 48...great painting wonderful colours...got a long time to wait to 'see this in the flesh' [a holiday booked years in advance as a motivator to live for]...I like what I see.

Lovely use of colour on this Sylvia a very vibrant and cheerful painting. Phil I thought they were "bigger than that........size 52" but what's a few inches at that size!!

Thanks for your comment Sylvia. I'm glad you don't see my stuff for anything other than what it is. The comment from Diana wasn't the first time that some-one has taken offense at my pictures (not on this site). Most of the women that pose for me are happy in their bodies because they are slim and are friends of my step-daughter - so therefore young. I have had commissions from older women with different body types, but as they are commissions I will not post the images. I'm still trying to find a 'liberated' man. The last thing I want to do is cause offense and there are bound to be others that feel the same way, so I will not be posting anymore. I am working my way gradually towards clothed figures and when I am happy with something I will post. Trouble is I'm a perfectionist and near enough isn't good enough, so most of my stuff ends up in the bin! I love your 'traditionally built women' by the way and can't wait to see them in their panoramic glory...

Well as some of you will remember I started this AGES ago, at least three months. It has gone through various stages of agony and is STILL not finished. It might be on the homeward bound track though. It is large... needed to be with all those bums. Acrylic onto canvas.
