Hi Sylvia thank goodness I decided to have another look at the gallery before I logged off...this is beautiful...the colour of the rocks is glorious and you certainly have captured the blond grasses...if it wern't for the shape of the rocks it could be Northen Australia.

I love your sketches, so vibrant and you portray the heat of the country so well.

I like the different and complementary styles you have employed here.

WOW you have certainly captured the atmosphere of africa in this painting........your paintings are alway's so vibrant we love them.

Another painted in Africa. This is across two pages of A 3 in my beloved inks. These are hugs deposits of rock and have a very architectural feel to them.. I also tried to convey the very soft blonde/ white grasses in the frore ground. i used oil pastel for these.
