No Dennis I have not heard the origins of that expression, I shall go and look it up . Somehow in my head it was from a nursery rhyme about pigs...shows how wrong you can be. Thanks for looking. S .

So true Thea. I think it was Monet who as he aged used brighter and brighter colours , something to do with his eyesight. So maybe I have the colour thingy in common with him, certainly the ageing . Ta for looking.

A canvas that really does not want to be painted...It has been painted over soooo many times. I decided to play and have come up with this, I still think it has a way to go . But with a bit of luck I shan't paint over it.
