A good piece Edward. Need variation of greens (not easy) but achievable. Composition fine, cows a bit too white, sky fine. Keep at it mate and correct your profile photo please.

Well Syd, I found you at last. This is a very vibrant painting and I like the sky reflecting in the stream. By the way, do you come from "Down Under"? Sorry, couldn't resist.....I wouldn't know how to correct that myself.

Hi Marjorie Firth Thank you for your kind words. I dont know how you found me as i am now being miscalled Edward with no first name. I am also being hung upside down to your (and my) amusement.<br />Good on you Marjorie. I have e-mailed our very helpful Dawn with these two errors and that ,i have found, is the way to do it. She is a very nice Sheila , fair dincum as they say here.....regards , Syd

Wotcha Edward... no, it&#39;s Syd. Your name is correct! Hurrah! Now, those greens... they are just a bit too, well, green, I reckons. Nice blue shadows, and reflected sky is ace.

Thanks Mike , but i dont like to see all the yellow grass that is appearing in some landscape paintings nowadays as if the artists are afraid of green. It could have been worse Mike ...I could have used a viridian mix.....lol....Syd

I should mention that the greens are Terry Harrisons Three Greens Artists watercolours which i use to save lots of mixing. No matter if you both may be prejudised against Terrys business , you have to admit that he is an accomplished artist and he gets away with these greens and intermixes of them.
