It's been interesting to see the abstract paintings from Amanda, Satu, Gudrun and now you Syd. The art group I belong to are having an 'abstract' day next week so, though it is way out of my comfort zone, I am going to give it a go. I think you may have started something here on POL!

Thank you Christine,Satu and Avril for your very kind comments They are much appreciated and. i may do more abstracts. they are out of my comfort zone but i find that some things in life are in that category too !

this is what i would describe as playing with paint. This is not a dismissal of abstract art .its a fun thing to do and nobody can say anything is wrohg. they may say this example is a load of tripe but i say it is aload of coloured shapes and that is indisputable.Th varied background hasnt shown very well in th photo but thats life..Its like a cross sectionthrough my brain now that ilook at it.
