excellent Syd, well balanced composition you have captured the mood of a rainy day in a busy street David Harrison

Still on page 1, Syd, miraculously! Excellent painting of a damp day in town; the blood sweat and tears you told us on the Forum that you expended on it isn't obvious at all - I agree with David, it's a very well-composed painting, and atmospheric too.

a lot work in this, good light and the cars are well executed, a really good piece Syd.

I like the way the roofs are cut off and I like the effect of light coming from the shops Syd. A complicated painting to do, everything works very well.

Ditto everything said already. Where's me brolly? I'm getting wet!

Thank you all for your appreciation of my painting .It was indeed a lot of work and I reckon I wont be in a hurry to do anything similar in future. All that perspective and all these shops and windows just about drove me nuts . However a glass of vintage port at bedtime for a few nights should put me to rights and get me over the trauma. Thanks again you nice people.

So you've made enough of a pile selling your panitings to buy and classy number plate Syd? You must tell me your secret. I know your talent and skills as depicted here and enthusiasm, so what else?

A very nice street scene Syd. You've certainly conveyed the wetness, typical of the weather at the moment!

Derek my car number plate was A9 SWE, how did you know? However i would have died of srarvation long ago if I had relied on art sale instead of a good salary. the secret is ...dont give up your day job. thanks Derek and Louise for your kind comments.
