This almost has an abstract look. Well done.

There is a dreamlike quality about the sinous treeforms which I find quite pleasing. Mnay thanks for the kind comments on my Waterfall painting.

I like the sun shining through, makes it look like a grotto, magical.

I find the yellow just a little too "raw" , but that's just me. The composition, particularly the foreground rocks, works very well though, and there is a good sense of depth.

Suzanne I just read your bog but I can't reply on there until you have written another post on it. It's a quirk of the site. Your pictures will only stay on the front page until someone else posts some. After that they go into your gallery. There's no way to keep them on the front page for very long. If you find you are not getting comments because the vanish so quickly then join the forum. there's a thread on there under the general section called "Invitation to view a gallery entry". You can add a link to your gallery there and ask for comments.

Hi Diana. the problem I had I think was the picture was to big, it would disappear when it went on to the next page. I hadn't had this problem with other paintings just this one. I will try to sort out my blog etc.its all getting to technical. Many thanks for your advice

Painted in oil on a deep edge canvas. I have now changed the size of this painting so hopefully it will stay on the gallery. The original of this painting is in my gallery. Any comments appreciated. Thanks for looking.
