Such a sad story but a beautiful painting which willl also bring joy and comfort Susanna.

Wonderful snowdrops, and a lovely painting, and also so poignant.

Such a sad story Susanna, and I am sure the parents will be delighted to have this memory.

That is so precious and beautifully painted, Susanna

Heartbreakingly sad but yhose parents are going to treasure this beautiful painting

How do you recover from this? You don't. But this is a beautiful idea, beautifully painted and with such thought.

A painting about fragility, light, hope, support, love and grief. This time last year my dear friends 18 month old daughter died of sepsis only 10 days after her baby sister had been born. It was so shocking. I spent the following week painting this jar of snowdrops as they symbolised so much for me, for their family. This week I added in the girls into the frame which had been positioned as part of the still life but there wasn't a picture in it. I will be giving the painting to the little girls parents. They are an incredible couple with so much faith and strength in the face of huge loss. I am so amazed by them
