For your second painting it is very good, love the expression in the eyes, well done

I'm no expert and only have 12 months head start over you, but if this is your second painting you should be feeling pretty pleased with yourself. Two really obvious things you've got right in my humble opinion....1. You haven't gone mad with colours. The limited palette you've used all works well together....2. You haven't been afraid to use very dark tones. When I look through the new paintings posted on this site the ones that stand out for me are the ones with a reasonably wide tonal range. Well done.

Wow - for a second painting this is really stunning Susan. What attracts me so much to it is that you already seem to have a style of your own - keep painting and keep posting.
