Bletchingley Heath Surrey by Susan Kourea

Nice yellowish mound for this heath and appears dry and scorched with the spindle branches and water for the boggy pool, the sky contrasts well too, looks open and clear! Nice loose style Susan, expressing the heath well , and a panorama view for distance set back into the open sky!

I was unhappy with the perspective in my original painting so tried to improved it with gouach and smudging to create greater distance and richer colours in the foreground. It's not my best by any means but I feel I have learnt a lot from persevering with this!
