many thanks. yes, i was a bit worried initially but there is a touch of surrealism to it which works out in the end.

instead of following the original photograph in LP, and doing it in one medium, i used acrylics as a base on canvas. then particles of eggshells and high gloss glaze for the front part of the beach, and sand gel for the beach on the right. I think the eye goes to the centre and then sees the other effects.
