Many thanks, i loved your comment of " the loose way in which i have painted the apples" - in all honesty, it was just trial and error rather than artistic talent! it was a matter of deciding to stop at a point rather than botch up the work.

another still life which is a 12" x 12" oil on canvas. nothing complicated about it. but the arrangement of the fruit brings out their fullness and flavour !! one feels like picking one and eating it !
