this is a large painting for me - i prefer painting medium sized works as people in india dont have large homes as in Europe. Most stay in apartments where wall sizes are restricted due to space constraints. i generally paint a horizontal or vertical format around 15/17" x 18/20". this is an oil painting, using a knife technique, size 26" x 21". i like the warm Tuscan colours and hope to paint some more scenes next year in Tuscany.
