I had purchased some Peruvian village scene paintings in Lima a few years ago. The artist's technique was basically greyscale with a touch of colour here and there. I have created my own versions adding more colour. I have painted a series of five scenes. In one painting, i even used neon colour to give it a totally different character. This painting above is with acrylic, watercolour and pen on 400 g paper.
