Textures
This is acrylic on paper. I used various acrylic media like string gel, glass beads etc to get the fabric textures – the painting is based on imagining the woven fabrics of tribals in the northeast of India. The range of Khasi and other tribal textiles are brilliantly woven in bright colours. I wanted to create something more pastel in shade.
