I don't know where this lack of confidence comes from. I like this. When I saw it in thumbnail size I thought the negative space was a woman leaning back. You've got flow, interest, the tonal and colour qualities are good and when you read the title the painting takes on a new life. The fungi are competant but not inspirational (because of your lack of interest?). Your nude doesn't hit the spot for me. How's that for honesty :)

Interesting and semi abstact. Like the colours Suki. You have a problem with your wrist at the moment but are still pushing yourself to create. Well done for the motivation to give it a try in the circumstances. Maybe you could do something based on your restricted movement and see what you other hand might be able to draw. I did a workshop where they made us use the left hand to draw with, if you were right handed etc. It was interesting. In my case I was rubbish but I did enjoy the freedom to create and have the perfect excuse for a poor result. Take care :)

I think this is marvelous. Love the colours and can feel the energy and flow, tight core and then freedom?

I can feel the release of tension from that knot to the lovely flowing feel as you leave the centre of the painting. The colours and change of tone are super and the whole painting is a wow. I like the fungi too but they look as if they were done in a very structured way and maybe this does not suit your style just now - could see you painting them in a lovely painterly abstracted way too as they are a lovely subject
