A nice watercolour, lovely colours and sense of depth well achieved

I really like the shade/light and colours you have used

Thank you Lorraine and Bernie for your nice comments. This was done over a month ago but I thought I would post it as I struggle with foliage, and this time it I didn't end up with an overworked mess!

Lovely colours and sunny feel to this one.

Thank you Carol....I do love to try capture light and shadow as it's one of my favourite subjects.

I love the light you have created in this piece. you shadows are super. really nicely painted. Lucia

Thank you Lucia!

This is a lovely loose watercolour. I read your remarks about foliage and know what you mean, anything green and I panic, but you have succeeded in producing a colourful woodland scene. Well done.

love the colours and the lighting ,it gives you that summer feeling.

Agree with Val, a nice loose watercolour and lovely use of colour . I also like the light in this painting so very well done.

Val, Helen, Jeannete, thank you very much for taking the time to comment....it is very much appreciated and very encouraging.

I really like your painting. I would purchase this and hang it in my house.

Agree with all the above love the happy Summer colours too

Fantastic! The colours are amazing. The painting is very much in the mid tone, but it works as it has so much light pouring into it, which is not an easy effect to achieve. I salute you!

Thank you all so much for your kind and generous comments. I am very encouraged!

Nice feel to this. Consider the foreground left looks like you've used a raw colour straight from the pan or tube. Try in future to mix as painting raw hues can look odd. You have created a very pleasing effect though and it's a 'feelgood' painting.
