Ah, another good one..I do like the humour in them all and the thought that's gone behind them. As for Michael's comment, he seems to know rather a lot of ladies,,lol

I love the style of your painting and the way this lady is funnily closed off and snatching at some sun which warmly shines through her deck chair.

This solo holidaymaker was reading by the pool, and I was struck by how pale, angular (and perhaps a bit sour!) she was - a stark contrast to the rest of the Florida holidaymakers! Walking past her to the Pool Bar I found it was Happy Hour on their Cocktails - one of which was a Whisky Sour called 'White Lady'!! Serendipity or what!!
