Thanks for your positive comments everyone. I did enjoy the challenge of doing something outside my usual comfort zone. We do need a bit of fun at the moment!

I like this, done really well . There's a great book about an artist called Brian Cook who did a lot of this style of posters and book covers - Brian Cook's Landscapes of Britain - if you want to see more.

I did this in Acrylic from an old railway poster that I had on a calendar. I am not so well practiced with acrylics so have been trying to improve my technique a bit during lockdown.

I am quite new to art and painting. I decided to take up this new hobby just 1 year ago in 2019, following retirement. I am pretty much self taught so far. I enjoy watercolours and pastels, though I am trying out various mediums as I am just an enthusiastic beginner.
