Oppenheimer by Stuart Currie

Extremely good and a likeness captured with very few details (the lips have it!) - what's the medium?

Thank you Heather, really appreciate your kind comments. The medium is water based Artisan oil paint. It's lovely to work with. I'm just watching the movie for the third time, I'm a bit of a film buff! 🙂

I like this very much - just enough detail but a lot left for the viewer to fill in. And definitely a likeness to Murphy.

Terrific portrait Stuart, I agree with Marjorie regarding the detail

Great portrait, love the style.

Excellent work

Thank you everyone for your kind comments 🙂

I really like this Stuart, another case of less is more.

'J.Robert Oppenheimer'. From the movie with the brilliant Cillian Murphy in the titular role. I wanted to have a go at a portrait, and picked my favourite film so far this year 🙂. This is from the scene in the Parisian art gallery, when the young Oppenheimer is staring at the Picasso..
