This is very atmospheric, with a great sense of recession. I wonder how you achieved the fine blades of grass.

Cheers Barry, the finer blades are scratched out with the corner of a palette knife

This is wonderful. Has great atmosphere and presence.

Thanks Heather

Steve this is good art at its best. Fully agree with the afore mentioned comments ..Enjoy reading your LP mag articles...

Beautiful, great atmosphere

Excellent Steve, i know this area really well having lived and painted in Snowdonia for over 20 years. You have captured it really well.

Thanks John, glad you get some enjoyment from the articles too.

Cheers Romila

Cheers David, your a lucky man, I love this part of the world. I'm looking forward to getting back for a relaxing weekend in Betws-y-Coed.

Yes, great interpretation and atmosphere.

Thanks Diane

I really like painting, lots of interesting viewpoints

Always something different! Thin paint - there was a once well-known oil painter whom I met once..... Victor (?) Voysey. Or was it Voisey - ONCE well-known, as I said! A Royal Academician at that. Anyway - he preached painting very thinly - whether for archival reasons or others, I don't know. He'd have liked this - as indeed do I.

Thanks Robert
