Cheers Allan, I sometimes feel like I'm painting the 'usual suspects' when it comes to still life so I'm trying a new direction to make it more interesting to make. Thanks for looking

Really like the simplicity of approach in this painting - the background works very well and the apples and knife blade are stand out.
