Hi Sylvia, Sorry, Moel Famau is a peak in Wales that's visible from the Liverpool side of the Mersey.

I love this Steve ,its very atmospheric.

I know Steve I live at the foot of it. Being the pedant that I am I would say this is more the Clwydian range , . And even more pedantic bluebells don't grow in this situation. . I like your pic a lot but being a boring old fart and having discussed this with my Scouser husband....!!!!!!! ! Now if you really want to come and paint Moel Famau ? .... Also Helfa Gelf is on at the moment in the vale and around n Wales every weekend in September not far for you to come and enjoy.

Not sure where this scene is,in relation to Moel ffamau, but it's wonderfully painted nevertheless, nothing wrong with artistic license, when it's this good.

Hi Sylvia, Thanks for your kind comments. I didn’t paint at the foot of Moel Famau, but from the Liverpool side of the Mersey along the Speke Garston shore where the bluebells were in plentiful supply, and Moel Famau is the view of Wales you see when looking in that direction. All the best Steve
