Polperro Harbour 1 by Steve Riley

I found myself coming back to this painting; for me, that's a good sign. The "abstraction", the form and colours are sympathetic to each other and come together in harmony. An Abstraction, I view as being only fully understood by the viewer, putting aside that paintings per se create and influence differently the emotions of the viewer from person to person. For me, I "know" Polperro and that I suspect helps me understand the painting. That aside, I like it and it's a good Abstract painting.
