This was early in the morning on a bitterly cold day in February. The wind was blowing hard from the North Sea and nobody was about. I thought about the similarity of the almost brutalism feel of the concrete sea defenses compared with the equally burtal feel from the harsh weather. I didn't stay long - and tried to capture this feel from the comfort of home. I must be getting soft
