In Memory by Stephen Mason
It was a bright frosty morning when we stood facing the sun and the rear of the centre piece of the National Memorial with sculptures and names of those who had fallen. I hope that some of the ramblers were thinking about the contribution that these heroes might have made to their own lives. I intentionally kept the figures themselves almost transparent to help convey this thought and what might have been. I know that I felt emotional paining this.
