Thanks for your comments. It's the old bridge at Burton on Trent (on the A511). The view is looking North from the washlands which, with all this rain, is likely to be under water tomorrow.

I tried painting this scene several time but was never happy with the results so I took a large pinch of artistic licence and imagined it on a snowy morning with much detail removed. That, and a large brush resulted in a very loose image.
