I love the pastel colours of the houses and how you have incorporated the colours so skilfully throughout the painting Stephen. Lovely work. What is the medium you used?

I think all three versions have merit but the composition of this one works best for me. Like your painting style Stephen

I revisted this area of the North East last month. I have always had a soft spot for these buildings but wasn't sure how best to paint them. I decided to paint 3 versions. This is fairly representative. The others are progressively more abstract. It was interesting doing all 3 paintings together.
