Stirling Moss reunited with his Jaguar C type

Comments

Looks great, and I’d recognise Sterling Moss as well.

Good one Steve - the car's the king!

Thanks for the comments. Faces are difficult and Stirling's isn't great I know and trying to get a likeness often meant one step forward and two back! In the end I left it as shown as the paint thickness was beginning to build. Perhaps one day I'll sand it down and start again.

I saw and have painted Stirling Moss being reunited at the Bicester Heritage Centre in July 2016 with the Jaguar C type in which he won the 1952 Reims Grand Prix in France. A3 Acrylic on paper.
