Why , why copy? You can obviously paint, so why use other peoples composition and technique. I really have a bee in my bonnet about copyists. Looking at the standard of your painting which is lovely... get out there and do your own thing. Look, listen, read , digest information. But make it your own. ... Sorry if this seems opinionated but I really have a thing about this It is only YOUR picture when it has come from inside you.

Almost what I was going to say. You have a good style; take your own photos and do your own paintings. Copying privately for practice is fine at the start but when you can pain so nicely, it's not necessary.

All the watercolours i have done were done in my first year as an artist when i was going to water colour classes. It's been about 5 years since i started painting and have never done it before.Since my first year i have only done about 1 painting a year without going to classes due to having not much time. This painting is a freehand copy of a painting by David Bellamy. As a way of learning i found copying work a good way forward.
