This was the third in the Cherry Blossom series. This painting was set in Japan, a beautiful country of endless surprises and one of those is the amount of locations you can see the cherry blossoms in full bloom. What attracted me to paint this particular area was to see the blossoms reaching out over the water and the people moving slowly across the water. I felt a sense of peace and quiet I felt I had to paint.
