This is beautiful Stephen...I love the composition and the strong colours.

I&#39;ve said it before, and I&#39;ll bore the pants off you with it again - you&#39;ve come along faster and farther than just about anyone I&#39;ve known on the site over the years. Fine work here, and excellent deployment of colour - by which I mean you&#39;ve incorporated subtle touches into what would otherwise be slabs of undifferentiated paint - especially in the sky. <br /><br />Bird painting, especially in action, is very difficult in any medium: but I believe in your hawk, he doesn&#39;t look as though he&#39;s been stuck on a landscape scene with glue (which is a common failing).
