Gold belt plaque of uncertain age. In the Hermitage collection St Petersburg. Nine flamingos, two raptors, a lion and a rat. The more one looks the more one sees. The 3 dimensional structure only comes out with the contrast of the “gold” and “ brown” colours.

I retired after a career as a clinical researcher. Art was and remains a relaxation activity. Mostly, I am self taught with a few individual professional tuition sessions. So, my work is mostly experiment to try to make something pleasing and to record the beautiful things around us.
