Spotted this in a cafe near the Alhambra. The lamp was such a curious shape and a real challenge to draw using polychromos pencils on Seawhite black paper

I retired after a career as a clinical researcher. Art was and remains a relaxation activity. Mostly, I am self taught with a few individual professional tuition sessions. So, my work is mostly experiment to try to make something pleasing and to record the beautiful things around us.
