The Alhambra sits on a hill overlooking Granada: a survivor from a different era. In this painting/sketch I tried to use a new approach of line drawing and wash. It really ought to have Táregga's guitar music playing in the background!

Stephen Gillespie
I retired after a career as a clinical researcher. Art was and remains a relaxation activity. Mostly, I am self taught with a few individual professional tuition sessions. So, my work is mostly experiment to try to make something pleasing and to record the beautiful things around us.
