Many thanks Sarah and Louise for your lovely comments. Daisy Nook is a country park on the border of Oldham and Ashton, Greater Manchester and as Louise says, is very close to Failsworth. It's a little oasis of green, surrounded by an urban sprawl.

As it was a lovely sunny day on Friday I popped over to Daisy Nook and spent a couple of hours painting two little watercolours. I had several little chats with people walking past and thankfully the comments were fairly complementary!
