This kind of thing would make a great start for beginners Stephen, no matter what they do to their painting, using wet in wet technique you always come out with something atmospheric.....as this is.

It's a lovely soft effect Stephen and it will be an ideal way to encourage others to give it a go , beginners cann get scared off if the task seems well beyond their reach . I wish you all the best with the workshop and also thank you for that excellent tip you picked up regards when to stop a painting .

I'm doing a little workshop/ demo attention the art group in a few weeks, aimed at people fairy new to watercolour. Just trying out ideas, this has a wet In wet background with a little foreground detail added later.
