I agree! Much too cold! I like the shadows and the scene is lovely too.

Stephen , i was so impressed by your foreground shadows that I have added some to my latest painting. Not as good as yours though.

It is a bit Stephen, I managed an hour or so Sunday but that's it, rain moved in. A good piece from you as always, like the figures immensely, the soft lines.

Cold here too Stephen, definitely an indoor painting day! I did a sketch from the sitting room window this morning for a painting....too cold to go out and do it! I agree with Alan about the figures, I like the fuzziness and the foreground shadow brings the piece to life.

Really nice wet into wet soft piece. The contrast with the harder edged tree shadow foreground is nice Stephen. I like your color palette too with this. We are cold, wet and windy in Seattle too today.
