Crime Lake, Autumn

Crime Lake, Autumn

You are going great guns with being able to paint very believable and wonderful water and reflections. I also like the colours in the trees in the background - very Autumnal and seasonal.

Such a tranquil painting, beautifully done. Would never have guessed its nefarious origin!

Many thanks Seok, yes crime was still just as bad in the past as in modern times.

From a photo I took on my sketching trip to Daisy Nook last week. I may have said this before, but this little lake owes it's name to a dastardly crime in Victorian times, when a lady passenger on the stagecoach was murdered after alighting nearby!
