This is very, very well done, Stephen. A rather complicated 'House'. I admire your patience to paint all those windows!

You've cracked that mellow stone look Stephen, it's extremely well drawn and painted. The dark bank of trees on the right sets it off perfectly.

Many thanks everyone for your encouraging comments. Bruntswood is a lovely little park near Stockport, presumably the stone building was the mansion of some 'worthy' who left it to the town in the past.

PS Forgot to add, I went to my art group with all my watercolour stuff...but left my paints at home! Fortunately I had taken a couple of non-waterproof ink pens with me (of different colours) and did a couple of sketches, then gave them a wash of water. Derrrr! I usualy forget something, then have to improvise.
