Hi Stephen thank you for the comment on my latest . One of the greatest lessons I learned in watercolour was putting paint on at the right thickness it’s something that’s ignored time and time again but yet if we look at the best in game as in Castagnet etc, etc they apply paint at the right strength and thickness each time and at different stages in the drying process of the paper , we’ve all seen thousands of wishy washy watercolours and yet a fair proportion of artists keep doing it never working out why their watercolours lack punch . I know you think deeply about the process and it shows in your work which gets better and better each posting
