Nice work Stephen and yes its difficult to know whats best more detail and work or the freshness of a quick one , I think id choose quick

Mine always seem to be quick, if I take my time I don’t usually like the result. I have to say, yours never look rushed Stephen.

Many thanks Dennis and Fiona. With watercolour you have to be quick, before the initial washes dry, for wet in wt passages.

The trees in the local park are now displaying their Autumnal foliage, took a few pictures earlier today. Painted this quickly, so a bit rough and ready but probably better than if I was more careful!
