Autmn shadows.

I like the composition and the colours very much Stephen, the figure and dog add a splash of colour and interest. I think that the blurred photo lets the painting down a bit. It's definitely worth another go if you're not altogether happy, as it's got the makings of a very nice painting, for "a complete disaster"...your quote, not mine. Well done.

Many thanks Bob, I don't often repeat paintings but as you say it might be worth having another go. As most of it is painted wet in wet the photo is fairly accurate.

Very nice painting Stephen, love the figure and the dog which gives interest. I also find dropping a little Lemon Yellow into the trees helps brighten them up.
