An imaginary Lakeland scene on a slightly misty Autumnal day. Used a small piece of Saunders 200lb paper, lovely surface. I added the distant hills and trees while the sky was still damp. Then added the water and the reflection with strong paint while the lake was still damp, to make the reflections blurred. Whet that was dry I added the tree, foreground and a couple of rocks.
About the Artist
I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.View full profile
