It is very good!

You've really captured the Wesson 'feel' Stephen

I agree, love those shades and beautiful trees Stephen.

many thanks everyone. It is fairly easy to copy this sort of work, the difficulty is to apply his methods to other scenes. he was able to spot the essentials in a scene and discard the trivial, also to rearange the scene to give a pleasing composition, not an easy feat!

You certainly capture a sense of mastery of the man Stephen. Great stuff

I'm a great fan of you both Stephen........and you both do something special with a snow scene.

Many thanks Dennis and Fiona.

Many thanks for your encouragement Louise.

Like this one Stephen, certainly captured the Wesson feel and atmosphere of his work, well done .

Many thanks Graham, much appreciated.

I painted this tonight at the art group from Ron Ranson's fine book 'The art of Edward Wesson'.

Stephen Slater

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
