Nice work again Stephen I love working with charcoal it's a very tactile process. If you are going to turn this into a painting and I think you should can I suggest a single general shadow in the foreground which would allow the eye to settle on the people. Hope you don't mind me making suggestions.

A charcoal sketch for a change. I don't use charcoal very often but I always think is a lot more like painting, than when using a pen or pencil.

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
